Children loves to enjoy any activity which is introduced to them in the schools or preschools elder students or the preschoolers both have some common nature of relaxing their mind with some fun activities. The pressure of studies on elder students is reduced by any of these types of activities and the preschoolers gain some knowledge with respect to these fun filled activities. In the list of these activities or holidays there comes a day which is known as Presidents’ Day which is celebrated annually on 18th of February, how young students enjoy this day? Let’s have a look.

Dressing up Like President: This is an activity which is the most favorite among the kids where they dress up like the 44 different presidents of the United States who led the country after getting independence from the Great Britain. It is a nice way to introduce the children with these men and to give them knowledge about all of them. This can be done with parent’s interference too or could be given as homework to the kids choosing the presidents which are favorites of their parents and grandparents and then they must be dressed up like those. Costumes created on presidents day must be judged and awarded as the best costume of the day to encourage the kid’s dedication and the efforts of their parents.

Reading Books: In the history of presidents of the United States Abraham Lincoln was the most avid reader who used to love the books as we love the food, his love for books was never ending and he used to share his knowledge with everyone near to him at an early life. Preschool teachers are advised by the directors of the schools to share the books of historical knowledge with the students and to aware them with the past during some fun activities.

Prepare a Quiz: Children love quizzes and trivia’s and they are keen to answer the questions asked to them. Preparing any quiz will enhance the knowledge of the plenty of the students who are selected for the quiz.

If Kid’s were the Presidents: Encourage the small ones to see the big picture.  Make a contest where the kids may give their speeches and elaborate that what would they do if they were the presidents. This will encourage their skills as well as motivates them to take actions in the future.

These activities on President’s Day will help the students in gaining lot’s and lots of knowledge and making them brave and courageous for their future. It would be better for any Preschool to have these types of activities instead of giving the kid’s a DAY OFF.
